St Peter's Church has stood on the same site since before the Doomsday Book was written! Unfortunately this wonderful old building is somewhat showing her age - over 900 years!
Age, wear and tear and the effects of earlier repairs (possibly over a century ago) now mean the church requires significant structural repairs. These are likely to cost well over £15,000.
Situated in rural Cambridgeshire to the north of Huntingdon the village of Kings Ripton is rather small (!) with only 75 houses. The pub shut before the mid-1990s, and alongside the Village Hall, St Peter's Church is the only 'community asset'.
The events detailed on this page will help raise the vital funds needs to keep this living historical monument standing, as an active place of worship and focus for community life.
